An Open Letter To January
Posted by Amy in Clinical on January 31, 2010
Dear January (the month, not the actress... though she's pretty great too),
Over the course of your 31 days, I've been given the opportunity to observe and perform many new skills including, but not limited to:
Intubating a pediatric patient
Graduating from a Mcintosh laryngoscope blade to a Miller blade
Attempting my first 2 spinals (I was one for two)
Attempting my first 3 arterial lines (I was two for three... insert fist-shaking here)
Caring for patients independently for small periods of time

Participating in a code in the OR
Getting better looking every day. Kidding! ...Kinda.

You've been good to me, January, and for that I thank you. If you had a neck, I'd give you one of these so you could be the "st ends" to my "be fri":
Amy
