An Open Letter to February
Posted by Amy in SRNA Life on February 28, 2010
Dear February,
While you were kind to provide me with multiple opportunities to hone my skills in the operating room (fiberoptic scope, glidescope and lightwand intubations; arterial line insertions; spinals... the list goes on), you also brought with you some rather unpleasant guests. Namely: four exams, a presentation, and a case of influenza (of the make-a-pact-with-God variety).
I knew at the beginning of the semester than you were going to be a doozy, February. And, for what seems like the first time since August, I was right. On the bright side, you're only 28 days long, March is peeking out from around the corner, and I think I dropped a few pounds from eating, and subsequently un-eating, Jell-o and Saltines for the better part of 3 days.
So good day to you, February... I said good day!
