NCANA Legislative Day

Last week, the North Carolina Association of Nurse Anesthetists hosted a legislative day in Raleigh, NC.  Those who attended were treated to a fabulous lunch and updated on current political issues in the state that may impact our profession.  We then set off to meet our respective legislators.  For me, this included:

Representative (R) Dale Folwell of Forsyth County...

Both gentlemen were incredibly kind and very personable.  They also enjoyed some good-natured ribbing, as Representative Folwell requested that we ask Senator Brunstetter, who we were meeting with later that day, "Senator, how is it that Representative Folwell is so much smarter than you?"  To which he laughed and replied, "this DESK is smarter than Representative Folwell!"

Love it.
